May 19, 2026 – “Fauna” is the colorway
Requirements for Dye Exchange participation:
–“Fauna” is the prompt for the Colorway of your dye project. Don’t overthink it. Or do. It’s up to you
–dye 24-32 oz of fiber (ahead of time!)
–separate out 1 oz portions. Label each portion with your name, the year, theme, type of fiber & dyes
used
–We recommend thinking “outside of the bag” and using less plastic
–it may feel extra “creative” to add something weird for the “fauna” aspect of the fiber…using cat,
dog or rabbit fur is a BIG NO!. Please keep in mind that we want to ENJOY this fiber swap and
allergies are already at a peak in the spring 🙂
–At the meeting we share our experience and how we dyed the fiber. Then we go around the circle and get a bundle of fiber from the other participants. It feels like trick or treating for adults!

Sarah McBride has fiber available for the dye exchange again. I’ve got Merino and Rambouillet both available at cost, now $18.50/lb.
I can ship, but that’s about $7.30 ish for the 2lbs, or I can bring it to guild meetings if you contact me ahead of time. (Or even Great Basin, again with contact ahead)
