It is proposed that we amend the bylaws Article VIII D. Salaries: Guild
officers shall be non-compensated. To be changed to Guild officers shall
have their yearly dues waived for the time they are serving as an officer.
This shall be there only compensation.
This proposal is being made by Jo Cosby, Chelsey Ashcraft, Aubrey
Koecher, Rachel Hall, Christine Briscoe. The reason for this change is
that the officers do quite a bit of work as a volunteer. We also feel that
this change might be an incentive for members to serve as a guild officer.
THIS PROPOSAL WILL BE VOTED ON IN OUR FEBRUARY
MEETING. Any concerns should be addressed to one of the officers and
brought up in the January or February meeting.
